Our History

About us

More Than 100 Years of Technical Ceramics Expertise

Our roots trace back to 1922, when technical ceramics production began in Bazet, France, manufacturing porcelain insulators for railway electrification and power transmission networks.

Over the following decades, the expertise developed in the Hautes-Pyrénées expanded into advanced ceramics, ceramic-to-metal brazing, medical devices, aerospace systems, imaging technologies, and other demanding industrial applications.

Today, SCT continues this tradition of innovation by developing ceramic and ceramic-to-metal solutions for some of the world’s most challenging environments.
