Issued from the General Company of electrotechnical ceramics, the company has been part of the ALCOA group, US Filter, and VIVENDI.

VIVENDI decided in 2000 to sell the company. It became a private owned company in march 2001, through a Management Buy Out.

Today the development of SCT's know-how reinforces its leading position in ceramic-to-metal technologies with more than 30 years of experience in this field.
